Is MeetPiano ready to use?

The free mini adventure on this page is ready to play. The full learning app, continuing curriculum, coaching, and family memberships are in development. This page lets you experience the direction we’re heading.

Do we need a piano to try it?

No. You can play this preview by tapping the on-screen keys or using your computer keyboard. For developing real piano skills, a physical piano or keyboard will be an important part of the full experience.

Can we connect our keyboard?

You can try a MIDI keyboard with the preview using “Have a keyboard? Connect it” below the piano. Connect your keyboard to your device first, then allow MIDI access. Compatibility depends on your keyboard, adapter, operating system, and browser. If the browser doesn’t support it, the on-screen keys still work. MIDI is different from Bluetooth audio.

Who is the adventure for?

We’re designing MeetPiano for curious younger learners with a parent or grown-up helping them get started. Older beginners are welcome to try the preview too. The full app’s age guidance and learning levels will be shared at launch.

Does a parent need to know how to play?

Not at all. A little help getting set up and some encouragement are a great start. We’re planning simple progress views so you can understand what your child is working on and celebrate their improvement.

Will this replace a piano teacher?

MeetPiano is being designed to support learning and practice. A good teacher brings personal guidance on technique, posture, expression, and more. We want the app to work well alongside that support.
